Final Trailer for Terminator Salvation Game

With the new release of the Terminator Salvation comes the highly anticipated video game. A movie like Terminator is a natural for a cross over to high end video gaming since most of the movie is CGI anyways. The game will feature tons of action and will follow a character based story line that is a continuation of the movie. The game has great graphics and game play looks amazing too. RETURN OF THE SPLINTER CELL

The splinter cell series returns with even more action and adventure for its fans. This time Michael Ironside has given his voice as a background for a trailer of the same to Ubisoft. Three trailers have been designed in order to direct thae path which would lead to the beginning of the much expected latest version of the game. Summarizing it all more and more concentration has been paid to the reasons for the creation of Splinter Cell: Conviction.

New maps for Killzone 2

There are two new maps available for Killzone 2. The gamepack named “Flash and Thunder” features 2 maps from the original Killzone. The maps feature Beach Head and Southern Hill which are the two “best” arena from the original. The maps have been completely redone for the PS3 platform. The Beach Head map sees the ISA tasked with defending a coastal stronghold against a Helghast landing force. The Southern Hills map sees the ISA attempting to storm a Helghast compound on top of a hill. The game pack is slated for release on June 11th at the Playstation Store.

Playstation 3 Slim must be in works

Shortly after photos of a rumoured Playstation slim hit the Internet a week or so ago Sony got up in arms and has had its Chinese manufacturer issue a cease and desist orders against several websites showing the leaked system. Sony has denied that such photos or system even exist and is silent on the Slim PS3 subject. If the photos hold true and there is no reason why they wouldn’t we should be seeing a slim PS3 sometime soon. If the photos were a fake Sony would not have gone through all the trouble and try to deny it so eagerly.

New racing game “Blur” trailer release

The new racing game by Bizarre Creations is seeing its first trailer hit the Internet. The teaser trailer shows off the gist of the game play and the amazing graphics that Blur has in store for us. There was not all that much on the new racing game before the trailer only a few interviews with the creators but that never truly paints the whole picture. With new sleek looking trailer now on their website it looks like everyone is in store for a sweet new racing game. The game is expected to be released for all of Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and the PC sometime in the fall of this year. More info on this title as it comes.

Sega reveals more on Aliens vs Predator

The new multiplayer first person shooter by Rebellion will once again pit Aliens vs Predators. The long standing sci-fi series will follow the paths of three races. You’ll get to take on a role as a Predator, Alien, or Colonial Marine, with single-player campaigns for each race. Playing online will feature a unique three-way online multiplayer experience say reps at Rebellion. Each race will have different weapons and abilities available to them. The game is currently scheduled to be released in early 2010 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows-based PC platforms.

Splinter Cell is back in action

Fans of Sam Fisher and the Splinter Cell series will be happy to know the super spy is back in action. Ubisoft has updated its website with a new trailer featuring the voice of Michael Ironside aka Sam Fisher. This is the first of three trailers that detail the sequence of events that lead up to where the game will begin. In summary: Sam Fisher recounts important plot details that lead up to the happenings of Splinter Cell: Conviction. Fischer recalls losing his daughter, shooting his best friend, and being betrayed by the agency he works for. The trailer commences with Sam in Malta seeking revenge on the NSA.

Activision gets cast onboard for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

With every big budget CGI action flick comes an action video game. The sequel to Transformers is going to be released soon and a new video game supplement is soon to follow. The game is sure to be action packed most of the movies lead actors have signed on to do voice overs. Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox, who will reprise their starring roles in the game, and fan favorites Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, the voices of OPTIMUS PRIME and MEGATRON from the original animated series. That will surely be a hit with fans of the series and should mean big sales for Activision.

Age of Conan doing just fine after 1yr online

New Gear added to DJ Hero

For those hungry for more info on the highly anticipated DJ Hero from Guitar Hero maker Activision here is some juicy gossip to feast on. We already know what the controller will look like with a turntable set up and 3 colored buttons. Now we find out a clip on “Mixer” will also be included that includes a cross-fader, effects dial and and Euphoria Button. The Euphoria button is much like Guitar Hero’s “Star Power”. The game play will be just like Guitar Hero but with only 3 buttons but your cross fader will have to be set correctly. There are also plans for scratching sections to make it all real like.
